ABOUT OUR HEALTH CARE CONSULTANT

Jackie Hamill is one of our Health Care Consultants. Jackie had her first position with Bridge Barn Consulting in 2017 when she was a university student. Jackie has since completed her degree and has a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University. During her studies, she took a particular interest in Indigenous Health and Continuous Improvement. Jackie has a variety of relevant work experience, as she had internships at the First Nations Health Directors Association and the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council.

Jackie is a member of the Tsimshian Nation and spent her childhood living in Northern BC. She regularly visits her hometown and has become very familiar with rural and remote communities.

In her spare time, Jackie greatly enjoys spending time in nature with her friends and family. She loves being outdoors and doing activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, biking and camping. Jackie also enjoys connecting with her local community.
